چکیده

Tectona grandis L.f. (teak) is a tropical tree cultivated mainly due to its resistance, valuable wood and tolerance biotic abiotic factors. An abundant bacteria community exists in teak tissues knowledge of the functional roles endophytic bacteria, from vitro tissue culture, essential for improving micropropagation techniques. In this study, we isolated with plant growth-promoting (PGP) traits two clones (Proteca® A3 E4) calli, leaves, stems segments culture medium. We analyzed colony pigmentation, gram reaction, evaluated PGP (phosphorous solubilization, nitrogen fixation indol-acetic acid production) 54 colonies clone 50 E4. A total 35 42 E4 were capable fixing nitrogen. Four solubilizing phosphorous (P-Ca3(PO4)2), while no strain showed that capacity. Furthermore, 49 capacity synthesize acid, only 4 presented characteristic. also identified six by analysis 16S-23S rDNA intergenic spacer region, showing high identity genera Curtobacterium sp., Ochrobactrum Bacillus spp. Therefore, demonstrate here bacterial existing tissues, including those plants, have can be further harnessed preparation bioformulations, example. Our findings open possibility studying these more closely order understand their association growth.

Screening of Rhizospheric Actinomycetes for Various In-vitro and In-vivo Plant Growth Promoting (PGP) Traits and for Agroactive Compounds

In this study 98 rhizospheric actinomycetes were isolated from different wheat and tomato fields, Punjab, Pakistan. The isolates were characterized morphologically, biochemically, and genetically and were subjected to a comprehensive in vitro screening for various plant growth promoting (PGP) traits. About 30% of the isolates screened were found to be the promising PGP rhizobacteria (PGPRs), wh...

Isolation and characterization of plant growth promoting endophytic bacteria from the rhizome of Zingiber officinale

Endophytes, by residing within the specific chemical environment of host plants, form unique group of microorganisms. Microbially unexplored medicinal plants can have diverse and potential microbial association. The rhizome of ginger is very remarkable because of its metabolite richness, but the physiological processes in these tissues and the functional role of associated microorganisms remain...

Isolation of Endophytic Bacteria from Green Gram and Study on Their Plant Growth Promoting Activities

A total of twenty five endophytic bacteria were isolated from green gram Vigna radiata (L.) plant. Four isolates which have shown better response for plant growth promoting effects on green gram plants were used as Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) in this study. It has been detected that up to 40% of the genomic 16S rRNA of isolated bacteria belongs to the Azotobacter genus. The result fo...

In planta selection of plant growth promoting endophytic bacteria for rice (Oryza sativa L.)

In this study, bacteria were isolated from the rhizosphere and inside the roots of canola (Brassica napus L.) plants grown in the field from northern Iran. Firstly, 150 strains (endophytic and rhizospheric isolates) isolated from canola were characterized for plant growth promoting (PGP) traits. Of them, one hundred isolates produced indole3-acetic acid (IAA), whereas 17 isolates solubilized ph...

Plant growth-promoting traits of biocontrol potential bacteria isolated from rice rhizosphere

Seven isolates of bacteria (SRI-156, SRI-158, SRI-178, SRI-211, SRI-229, SRI-305 and SRI-360) were earlier reported by us as having potential for biocontrol of charcoal rot of sorghum and plant growth promotion (PGP) of the plant. In the present study, the seven isolates were characterized for their physiological traits (tolerance to salinity, pH, temperature and resistance to antibiotics and f...
